Ecchi-Ro Server Rules

If you are punished for breaking a rule, you probably know why. If not, check the forum player reports or bot reports. Someone will probably be able to explain it to you. However, short bans are not always published, nor are screenshots always taken. Any ban longer than 3 days should have proper proof, and most bans of 3 days or less will have proof available.

For every rule listed below, the punishment is the minimum recommended ban. However, depending on the circumstances, severity, and if there are any previous incidents, the ban can be much longer, up to a permanent or IP ban.

If you see someone break a rule, take a screenshot. It can be used as evidence. Your word alone will not be enough to get someone banned.

Ecchi-Ro has complete chat logs of every message sent in-game. If someone is breaking a rule by sending in-game messages (spam/harassment/etc), screenshots will help, but if you weren't able to take any, you can still report the player, and we can look up anything they may have said.

For time-based or permanent bans, a ban means you will not be able to login to your account (note: some offences result in all your accounts being banned). An IP ban means no one from your IP address (eg: 196.45.0.200) will be able to login. An IP range ban is used for people with more dynamic IP addresses, and will prevent people from logging in from a range of IP addresses (eg: 196.45.0.*).

The Assumption To Play Ecchi-Ro

Due to the fact that our Server is a soft hentai Ragnarok Online server, every player must be at least 16 years old or older.

With this age limit we avoid having problems with your legal guardian and if you ever get problems with your legal guardian because you play on our server, you wont be able to adjudge our server.

Keep in mind, we cant check everyones true age and if you are wise enough you will know what you have to do in this case.

Minimum recommended ban: Permanent and IP or IP range until you are 16 years old

Communication In The Server

Please keep in mind that not every player can speak spanish, russia, french, italian, portuguese, german or any other language.
English is one of the communication languages in the world.

Due to the fact that we are a national server for the whole world, we want every player to use English as a communication language.

Talking to a GM in English is a duty, except the GM talks the same language as the player.

Minimum recommended ban: normaly mute or jail
Maximum recommended ban: 2 days - 1 week

Respect Other Players and Game Masters

Behind the graphics in Ecchi-Ro, there are living and breathing people. They're like you, and they have feelings, so respect them and talk to them as you would want others to talk to you. Don't use excessive vulgarity or profanity. Sexual slander and racist comments will not be tolerated.
And calling someone a noob also counts to this rule.

Never lie to the Game Masters. If you are caught lying to a GM, all your accounts will be permanently banned, and an IP or IP range ban will be issued. Do not publicly accuse a Game Master of cheating on their legitimate characters or giving stuff to Players. If you believe a GM might have cheated, and have a good reason to report them, contact ~EXkillA~ directly. Spreading rumours (true or not) before the GM team investigates will lead to a ban.

Minimum recommended ban: 2 days - 1 week
Maximum recommended ban: perm bann + ip bann

Respect Ecchi-Ro

Spreading rumours about Ecchi-Ro is just as bad, if not worse, than spreading rumours about Game Masters, and it will not be tolerated.
There is nothing wrong with some criticism, such as "I don't like Ecchi-RO because it doesn't have warp commands." However, statements such as "Ecchi-Ro is corrupt." are a much different story. A justified opinion is acceptable, but you need proof. It's not hard to prove that you don't like the server because of the warp commands. There aren't warp commands, and you want warp commands. However, to prove an accusation such as corruption, you need hard evidence of how it's corrupt.

Minimum recommended ban: 2 days - 1 week
Maximum recommended ban: Permanent and IP or IP range (serious violations, such as screaming "corrupt" with no evidence)

Do Not Use GM-Fake Names

Using Names which have GM- , -GM , Ecchi-Ro , Owner , Admin or any kind of modifications of current GMs is strictly forbidden.

Through this rule we can avoid Scams through GM-Fakes

Minimum recommended ban: Permanent and IP or IP range

Do Not Kill Steal (KS)

Kill stealing is when you attack a monster that is already being hit or targeted by another player, or when you attack a monster that is already hitting or targeting another player. If you think they're in trouble, you can ask them if they want help. MVP's are an exception to this rule; you are allowed to attack any MVP regardless of whether another player has already engaged it. If you accidently steal someone's kill, apologize to the player.

Minimum recommended ban: 2 days

Do Not Use Bots

For the purposes of this rule, a bot is defined as any software other than the standard (Sakray) client that connects to the eAthena server instance on the Ecchi-Ro game server, or simulates human actions such as mouse movements, mouse clicks, or keystrokes.

We have zero tolerance for bots. We have staff who are dedicated to catching botters, and they do a very good job. Work your way to the top by playing the game, not by running a program to play for you. Do not pretend to be a bot or knowingly act like a bot. If you recieve a ban for being a bot this way, you will not have your accounts unbanned.

Do Not Use Homunculus While You Are Not Sitting at Your Computer (AFK)

Due to the imbalance in the server caused by AFK farming, and the excess of complaints from players, there are special rules regarding playing with a Homunculus. But you are allowed to go AFK for less than 5 minute and not longer

It is forbidden to use @autoloot while camping with your homunculus (Note that camping means staying on the same map - it doesn't matter if you are AFK or not). This includes autolooting low chance drops like cards with the command "@autolootitem". The GM team can check item logs of the character in question to determine if @autoloot was being used.

It is allowed to use autoloot when you are moving around on maps. Standing in one spot or slightly moving on big maps is still classified as camping.

Do Not Hack or Exploit Bugs in the Server

Hacking includes any attempts at compromising the server's security or the security of any other player's account. If a player wants you to use their account, they will give you their password.

If you find a way to perform a task in-game that bypasses the normal requirements of the task, and you take advantage of this shortcut, then you are exploiting a bug.

If you find a bug, please report it on the forum.

Minimum recommended ban: Permanent and IP or IP range

Do Not Beg

Do not beg for anything. Even if you are a novice, just remember: everyone else started as one, and they all got through it. You will earn money if you hunt for items and sell them. If you need a heal, use the Healer NPC. If you are going to publicly ask for something, be polite, and wait between each request.

Minimum recommended ban: 2 days - 1 week

Do Not Scam or Cheat Other Players

Scamming is intolerable. Do not offer overcharge/discount and run away with somebody's money. Do not trick people by selling them a "slotted" item that really isn't. Do not try to get other players to give you their account information.

Conduct all trades in-game or on the forum. That way we have logs. If you are making a trade in-game, have a chat about it first. A chat log saying "I'll give you a slotted helm" followed by a trade of an unslotted helm is enough evidence for us to reverse the trade. The trade logs alone aren't good enough, because we can't know what the deal was supposed to be.

Minimum recommended ban: Permanent

Do Not Lure, Heal, or Buff Monsters

Do not lure monsters to other players and teleport away. If you need to get rid of a monster, go through a warp, or log out. If you are about to die, do not lure the monster to other players.
Do not use skills that help monsters, unless everyone near the monster knows what you're doing, and you kill it when you're done. You are not allowed to use any skills that will help an MVP in any way.

Minimum recommended ban: 2 days

About Chats or Vends on Cephel (Maintown) and other Cities

You must not Vend in any City except Cephel.
You are allowed to vend at the stairs and the little path to the fountain.

Do not purposefully place your shop on the same square as another vendor with the intention of "keeping your favourite spot" or preventing players from seeing the other shop.

Do not open chats near warps or NPC's.

Minimum recommended ban: 3 days - 1 week

Do Not Spam

Do not repeatedly spam words or phrases. Do not spam skills in towns. If you are forging/brewing with a gloria priest, leave the town or move to an unpopulated area in the town.

This Rule contains every skill with animations and sounds!
And Abracadabra, Plant Cultivetion or any skills which can bring up monsters!

Minimum recommended ban: 2 days - 1 week

Do Not Advertise Other Servers

Ecchi-Ro players enjoy their server and do not want to be bothered with advertisements for other servers. Advertising is not tolerated.

Minimum recommended ban: Permanent and IP or IP range

Do Not Act Stupid

It's hard to give this rule much of a description, but don't do anything that, while not being listed above, is obviously something that would not be allowed.
Punishment for acting stupid varies depending on the level of stupidity.
We reserve the right to ban any player for any length of time, at any time, for any reason.

Do Not Use Ninja-NPC During WoE And To Kill Merchants

Due the fact that Ingame Merchants are put in while the Players are offline, its strictly forbidden to kill Merchants with Ninja-NPC.

If there is a Player who is just AFK you can kill him with this until he comes back.

Another problem is the Ninja-NPC during WoE (War of Emperium). You must not use the Ninja-NPC to kill a player during WoE just because you cant defeat him!.
The Use of Ninja-NPC during WoE is strictly forbiden!

Minimum recommended ban: 2 days - 1 week
Maximum recommended ban: 1 month if the player acts stupid

Do Not Harrass Players Or GMs

Due to the fact that we are a soft hentai Ragnarok Online Server, it is strictly forbidden to harrass Players nor GMs.

Harrassing includes asking Players or GMs to have sex with them, to talk to them with sexual contets, doing sexual actings in all places.

Coming up with "But Kafra / Warpra has sex with Orc" or "The girls on the Special Tool Dealer give hand to the Guy" is useless. These 3 NPCs are the only ones who can have sex in Ecchi-Ro.

Chatrooms with sexual contents are forbidden.

Minimum recommended ban: 2 days - 1 week
Maximum recommended ban: Permanent and IP or IP range

About Players and their Items

Due to the fact that we got a MVP - Arena and a PVP - Room, nearly everyone knows that these 2 rooms are special rooms.
As long as the player stays alive in these room, nothing will happen.
But, when a player dies in these rooms, it may happen that you will drop some Items of your Equipment, the reason is that those rooms cant distinguish between Monsters and Players.
The same thing happens in Jail too.

Thats why we GMs wont take responsibility when you guys loose your stuff, except when you lost donation items, and only then when you directly pm a GM, or you post it into forum witch infos like, where, when, what time etc.

Minimum recommended time: Time when it happened
Maximum recommended time: 1 day

I fact of the latest occurrences, I am forced to add a remark to this rule:

Inviting other players into a guild without asking them before, or beeing asked by them for a guild-invitation, is a sign of not respecting other players. The same counts for: party invitations and sending addings to the friendlist.

From now on, you can be reported and punished for it.

Something about Character Names:

Forced by the latest occurrences, I have to make a rule for character-names:

Do not use untypeable signs. You can use all signs everybody in every country of the world can reach on his keyboard. Avoid sign that can only be reached by alt+xxxx-combinations.

If you got such signs in your characters name, the GM-Team can do a name change, for free.

Forced by an actual case this rule will be extended to the usage of Clones and Mercenaries.

And when you open an Autotrade-Shop on a field and let a clone, mercenary or homunculus do the levelup-work the punishment will be 2 weeks :!:

We will know that it was autotrade, cause we tested what happens when a autotrading character is jailed, blocked or baned.
